Day 8 – Create faster, simpler processes and procedures

Our world has changed beyond recognition, which means your business processes and procedures might not be practical any more, and might even be holding the business back. Review them all to see if they need to change to suit the new way of doing things.

You could ask your staff for their input since the people on the ground, those who actually do the work, can usually see ways things that can be done better. You could even ask your customers for ideas, always a good marketing move since most of us genuinely enjoy being asked what we think.

Once you’ve identified improvements to make in the business’s processes and procedures, don’t forget to tell everyone about the changes you’ve made.
